Snickers Candy Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of chocolate milk chips or flakes
1/4 c of butterscotch flakes
1/4 c of peanut butter (creamy)
For the filling:
1/4 c of butter
1 c of sugar (granulated)
1/4 c of evaporated filled milk
1-1/2 c of Marshmallow Creme
1/4 c of peanut butter (creamy)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1-1/2 c of peanuts (salted); chopped
For the caramel:
1 pkg of caramels (14 oz)
1/4 c of whip cream
For the Icing:
1 c of chocolate milk chips of flakes
1/4 c of butterscotch flakes
1/4 c of peanut butter (creamy)
Instructions:
Combine the chocolate milk chips, butterscotch flakes, and the peanut butter inside the saucepan then whisk over medium-low heat till smooth and melted. Spread evenly on the buttered 13×9 inch pan then chill to set.
To make filling, melt the butter inside the saucepan then stir constantly over moderate heat then add peanut butter, vanilla, and marshmallow creme. Blend well; add the peanuts then spread above the chilled layer.
To make layer for caramel, mix the caramels with the cream inside the saucepan; constantly stir the mixture over medium-low heat till smooth and melted. Pour atop the layer of filling.
To make the icing, combine the flakes and the peanut butter then stir constantly over medium-low heat till smooth and melted. Spread above the layer of caramel and chill for an hour before cutting into bars.
