Molasses Taffy Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/3 c of condensed filled milk (Eagle Brand, sweetened)
1/2 c of molasses
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Combine together the molasses, salt, and milk; stir and cook over medium-low heat then use thermometer (for candy) to know if it is done (250-266 degrees F). Place it on a greased pan and let it cool.
Pull the candy using your hands (make sure you spread butter on your hands) till it becomes firm then stretch it to form a rope. Cut to a variety of sizes.
