Maple Sponge Candy Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of maple syrup (Grade A)
2 tsps of distilled vinegar (white, Heinz)
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
2 tsps of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 c of chocolate milk flakes (softened)
Instructions:
Mix together the sugar, vinegar, and syrup; cook at 300 degrees F. Once well mixed, take out from the heat and immediately mix in the soda. Stir thoroughly. Pour onto a 9 inch square metal pan and drizzle with chocolate flakes.
