Divinity Candy Recipe

Ingredients:

2 c of sugar (granulated)
2/3 c of milk (evaporated)
12 pieces of marshmallows (large)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 c of butter
12 ozs of chips (chocolate)
6 ozs of chips (cherry)
1 lb peanuts (salted); chopped
3/4 c of peanut butter

Instructions:

Mix together 2 c of granulated sugar, 2/3 c of (evaporated) milk, 12 large marshmallows as well as 1/2 cup of butter and cook on moderate heat. During its boiling peak, stir mixture then let boil for five minutes. Take away from fire then add chips of cherry as well as vanilla (extract). Spread on 13″ x 9″ pan then cool.

Soften and melt peanut butter and chips of chocolate. Take away from fire and drop peanuts. Spread this mixture on the cherry mixture then cool.
