Candy Corn Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of sugar (granulated)
2/3 c of corn syrup (white)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/3 c of butter
2.5 c of sugar (confectioners’)
1/3 c of milk powder
1/4 tsp of salt
Food color (not required)
Instructions:
Boil mixture of 1 c granulated sugar, 2/3 c syrup as well as 1/3 c butter while always stirring. Reduce the heat then let boil for five minutes while stirring from time to time. Keep mixture away from fire then introduce vanilla in it.
Using a another plate, mix 2.5 c confectioners’, 1/4 tsp salt as well as 1/3 c milk powder then add this mixture to syrup mixture. Use food color to design but this is optional. Stir mixture ’til cool. Create shapes using mixture.
