Candied Lime Peel Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pcs of limes
1.5 c of water
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
Instructions:
Squeeze out the lime juices and reserve it in the refrigerator. Put to a boil using saucepan with heat, set high, water and sugar for three 3 mins. Drop the peels into the cooking syrup. Set to moderate heat then simmer until peels soften, approximately an hour.
Place peels on rack wire to cool and let dry (12 hours). Put in sealed container and refrigerate.
